Drexel President Constantine Papadakis Funeral

Family, Friends, Faculty and Students filled St. Luke's Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall, Pa. today for the Final Farewell to their President Constantine Papadakis who lost his Battle with Cancer April 5, 2009. H.E. Archbishop Demetrios and Metropolitan Evangelos Officiated at the Funeral Service. Constantine Papadakis was an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Member of Leadership 100, Board of Trustee at Hellenic College and Holy Cross in Brookline, Mass.and was on many Boards. A Cretan, he was proud of his Greek Heritage and made sure he helped as many people as he could. Taki never said no to anyone who asked for his help. Daughter Maria talked about her Father at the Funeral Service while wife Eliana dressed in all black sat quietly still not able to believe that she has lost her long time friend and husband.
The Family thanked the many friends who were there for them at this difficult times. May Taki Rest in Peace, (Elafri to Homa).
